What to name #4?

We are working on the names. Girl biblical names are difficult. Samuel was the easiest of the 3 to name. Maybe because we were surprised by a boy and only had 3 weeks to come up with a name. I think we named him in the hospital.

You may suggest names. Some guidelines: Biblical or meaning of name gives praise to the Lord and one name should be a prophet's name. All the children have a prophet in their names.
Samuel Job, Micah Elise, Gabrielle Elisha, and . . .??????

Blanket for #4

So by now you should know we have gone on a "family sabbatical". What does that mean? It means that we are taking things down a few notches for a while. We are expecting baby number 4, a girl pretty soon. I'm 34 weeks, but the baby is already about 6 lbs. So if she doesn't come early, the doctor will induce between 36-38 weeks.

I am enjoying "sabbatical". It's even better than vacation on an island somewhere. How can that be? Because "on vacation" I still have to come back! This is better. Nothing on the horizon except picking up the children from NY and bringing a new one here! This is awesome. This is a "self-funded" sabbatical, so Rudy has been hustling while we have been here. Some good prospects, just needing one to pan out.

The whole purpose of this was to tell you what I did today. I was very excited. All of you should know that I am a crafty person. I scrapbook, have quilted, decorated cakes, etc. in the past. Never had time to do anything in the last year (scrapped twice!). But today on the spur of the moment, at Walmart, bought some fabric and almost finished a baby blanket for #4 (name poll to come). It's not a pieced quilt, but it is a flannel blanket that is sewn together in boxes (no batting, for the quilters) and then a pretty pink satin ribbon for the trim (tomorrow's task).

This was extremely relaxing. The only reason I stopped was because my feet started to swell from sitting in the same position for a few hours.

Reboot

I started a blog about 5 years ago when Micah was a baby. It was called, "up before dawn". I was too busy to keep that going beyond 5 or 6 weeks.

So this is a reboot - almost 5 years later.

But I wanted to keep my friends and family informed as to what's going on with me. So bookmark this if you are interested.
